2 day 1 night fully guided float trips - $900 per angler we can accomodate up to 8. When you book a Brazos river float with Finstincts, you will be floating a remote stretch of the Upper Brazos River below Possum Kingdom Lake near Graford Texas. You will experience breathtaking views from the river as it winds through the Palo Pinto mountains, fine Texas cuisine and personable experienced river guides with a passion for teaching fly fishing. We provide all tackle, lunch and drinks. All you need to fish with us is a good night's sleep! We target large F1- Tiger bass on the fly and also catch a variety of other species such as gar and striper. Experience world class fly fishing right in the heart of Texas. If you haven’t fly fished before, we will teach you! We pride ourselves on being fishing coaches more so than guides! After a day of fishing with team FINSTINCTS you will feel like a seasoned angler! We believe in our fishery so much that we guarantee success! You don't catch fish, you don't pay!! Get the true western fly fishing experience only an hour from the DFW. These trips are offered from October 1 to May 1. There are many similarities to a day float except you will do two of them in a row with amazing glamping type accomodations in-between! We generally do a 10 mile stretch on our two day floats. You will meet up with your guide, load your gear, and start your adventure around 8AM, you will float and hunt or fish until 5 PM when you will arrive to our spectacular wall tent drop camp and enjoy an evening on the river with 5 star food and all the comforts of home (except cell service)! The next morning you will enjoy coffee and breakfast around the fire before another action packed day of fishing. We float 6.5 miles the first day and 3.5 the second and aim for a 3PM take-out the second day.
